By Air
Both Virgin Blue and Jetstar operate direct jet services into Hervey Bay’s “Fraser Coast” Airport from Sydney,
Sereno is approximately 7 km from the Fraser Coast Airport. You can hire a car, catch a taxi (approximately $13) or be dropped at your door by the airport shuttle bus ($6 per person). You can arrange for a pick-up to the airport on your return.

By Car
Hervey Bay is an easy 3 1/2 hour drive north of Brisbane on the Bruce Highway, so many visitors come by car.

By Coach
Regular coach services are available from Maryborough to Hervey Bay with Greyhound-Pioneer-McCafferty’s, Premier and Suncoast Pacific Coaches. There is also a Suntours weekly express bus service from Brisbane.

By Rail
Queensland Rail operates regular services from Brisbane, Rockhampton and Cairns into Maryborough West. Transfers to Hervey Bay can be included via the Trainlink bus service, which connects with every train.
